TAILOR MADE MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES

We tailor our mountain bike tours, and camps around the riders’ ability and needs factoring in time and date, distance and terrain. We cater from individual to group ride providing guided rides.

INCLUDING HARD TAIL MOUNTAIN BIKE

All our mountain bike tours are inclusive a hard tail mountain bike. The rental bikes are in great conditions and include a helmet and puncture equipment. Full suspension mountain bikes can be rented for an additional R300 per day.

INCLUDING COFFEE STOP

Mountain biking makes you thirsty. Luckily there are many great coffee shops (tell us if you don’t like coffee ;-)). On all our mountain bike tours we plan to have a quick coffee at a scenic wine farm or a cosy coffeeshop half way.

The Bottelary Hills MTB route runs over 20 farms in the Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy area just outside Stellenbosch. The trails range from easy single trails to the more technical trails for the most experienced mountain bikers. There is sure to be a trail for all mountain bikers alike.

The Boschendal trails runs through the beautiful Banhoek Valley, an area just outside Stellenbosch. The trails range from easy single tracks to the more technical, rocky and steep trails for the most experienced mountain bikers.

Some of the favourites routes are in Jonkershoek nature reserve at 9,800 hectares a mere 10km scenic route from Stellenbosch. The reserve offers wide variety of trails, ranging between 10 km and 28 km, that criss-cross the natural amphitheatre formed by the mountain peaks surrounding the pine tree plantations and reservoir at the bottom of the long valley.

Conveniently located near Stellenbosch University, the Coetzenburg Trails provide a quick escape into the wilderness. The scenic loop trails here are excellent for a 60-90 minute Sunset Experience: As the sun begins its descent, you'll find yourself immersed in an ever-changing canvas of colors. The mountains, vineyards, and indigenous flora are bathed in the soft, warm light of the setting sun.
