The Winelands Marathon has been held consecutively during the month of November since 1978 and is one of WP Athletics’ premier events. For the last 15 years a half marathon has been held in conjunction with the marathon. Both races are very popular, each year drawing runners from all over South Africa, as well as a sprinkling of overseas runners.
