Open water swim

TIME AND PLACE OF THE SWIM?

Every Friday we offer an open water swim at Boschendal. Gorgeous sunset mountain views are guaranteed. We gather at security gate 20 at Boschendal at 5:30pm. The gate opens remotely so we only have a limited window of opportunity to enter through the gate. Please be on time. Let us know if you are coming (and also if you have a change plan and decide not to come last minute so we don’t wait for you in vain).

LOCATION

From Stellenbosch: Hellshoogte road, turn right at the Lanquedoc turn-off just after Pniel Primary school. Over the bridge and first left (dirt road). That is gate 20 where we gather at 17:30.

COST

The swim is included in the BMT/Boschendal trail center membership. For drop in sessions we charge R50. We don’t accept any cash at the dam. You are required to use zapper to pay. You are only allowed to enter the dam after signing an indemnity form.
