Klapmuts Cup Trail Run

The Klapmutskop trail network is one of the oldest in the Cape, but still produces wonderful views from the singletrack. The long distance winners will run to win the local trophy! Join in the fun at the last in the FALKE trail run series.

REGISTRATION: From 06h45 at Dirtopia Trail Centre
DISTANCES: 5km, 7.5km, 12.5km & 15km

START TIMES: 15km: 08h00; 12.5km: 08h15, 7.5km: 08h30 & 5km: 08h45
COST:Pre entries close 12 October: 5km – R90, 7.5km – R110, 12.5km – R125 & 15km – R13

Late entries (if available, taken on event day) R50 more per entry.

ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: The longer routes offer great climbing on jeep track through the vineyards towards Klapmutskop with rewarding singletrack trails and scenic wineland views from the waterpoint of Table Mountain in the distance. The longer distances will be turned around from the normal direction of previous runs. The 5km circles through the vineyards and around the farm dams with lots of birdlife.

GENERAL INFO: Pre-entries will receive discount and a medal to the three longer distance finishers! The refreshment station at the Pepper tree on the longer routes will have Powerade, fruit & jellies and Coke at the finish for all! Prize giving and lucky draw with wonderful prizes from FALKE and other product sponsors will take place around 10am. Dirtopia Café will be open all day for breakfast, lunch and coffee. Livvwell massages at the finish. Zebonkey will sell craft beer too.
