  • Loved our stay at Rozendal and it will be on my tip list for all future travellers. Biodynamic farm, organic and natural. Had a good chat with the owner and learned some life lessons.They also make their own vinegar on the estate and it is delicious!! Our rooms were very spacious, bright and comfortable. Each room has its own patio with a table and chairs, so that we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.

Auberge Rozendal

Plumbago cottage offers a self-catering option for those who prefer a more homely stay.   • Location is great, it’s about 5 minutes drive from the heart of Stellenbosch itself, which means you don’t get the noise and busyness of the town, but are still close enough to get there easily enough. The rooms are in separate buildings, almost like a townhouse complex, are very spacious and are comfortable. The deluxe rooms we had, had a separate lounge area with a balcony and a bedroom. This is an ideal basecamp for a stay to explore the winelands and surroundings.

Cultivar Guest Lodge

Nestled between the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains and luscious vineyards, perfectly located and less than 7 km from the town centre, lies the majestic Cultivar Guest Lodge & Multi-Venue. This 12 000 square meter property with its naturally welcoming feel, endless green lawn areas, exhumes a feeling of utter relaxation and astonishment experienced by all visitors to the property. The unique building style and design of the main house, outside wings and balcony is in perfect harmony with the surrounding backdrop of greenery and mountains around.

Cultivar consists of 11 uniquely & individually decorated rooms that have all their own look and feel, still keeping in perfect harmony with the ambiance of this great property.


  • We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. Nice AC, clean room, great WIFI. Breakfast is good and the staff is vey friendly. We highly recommended this place to anyone and would love to come back!

Millstream bed & breakfast

Visitors cannot believe that such peace and tranquility can exist so close to the town centre. Most amenities are within walking distance: the Van Der Stel sportsfield is a few minutes’ walk, town centre with numerous restaurants and shops within ten minutes’ walk and the gym, the track and the pool a similar distance.

The guest house, once a family home, boasts five double rooms as well as two twin rooms and a family unit that can sleep four. All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee facilities, ceiling fans, wall heaters, TV and clock-radios.
Parking is off-street and secure. There is a swimming pool and a shady patio.
Rates are quoted per person sharing, with a single room supplement, for bed and breakfast. Summer breakfasts consisting of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, tomato and eggs, a variety of breads, and jam, are served buffet-style. In Winter, we offer a hot English breakfast.



  • What we liked even more was how great Sandré the owner was. She was one big help with a great sence of humor. She gave us reat advise about the vineyards and restaurants. Unlike many hotels and B & B’s a patio is available where you can sit and enjoy the swimmingpool and have a drink.

Villa Grande

A warm-hearted Tuscan-style villa in historic Stellenbosch… At the end of a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac, you will find the cool, shuttered façade of Villa Grande. his elegantly renovated 1920s villa offers exclusive accommodation and a serene retreat within easy walking distance of the swimming pool, the track, the gym and the city centre. It’s also the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions of the Cape winelands.


  • Villa Grande is set in the center of Stellenbosch. Within walking distance of all our sport sites as well as. The rooms are charming and the guest house offers a lovely breakfast. Well worth a visit and great value for money.
