Squad sessions

3YO Training camps offers triathlon squad sessions to their athletes in Stellenbosch. We are passionate by triathlon – swim, bike, run and committed to every step of you reaching your goals.

Track session

Most runners seeking to maximize their 5K or 10K potential will need to adopt some form of running intervals. After a base of solid distance running has been established, runners can add interval training to complete to the elements needed for optimal racing fitness.

Track session: Tuesday 6:00 AM from BMT.

We are planning to do the track sessions on the Coetzenberg athletics track as soon as it is completed (hurry up!). Meanwhile we run at the Markotter gras track.

Open water swim

Our Friday 17;30 PM open water swims at Boschendal will start soon.

Mountain bike X-Terra session

Wednesday at 17:00 PM we do a bike (mountain) ride from Bmt. This will be a non technical session. We will ride in the Coetzenberg area, mostly jeep tracks, but sometimes easy single tracks. The session will take about 90 minutes.

During the season we will explore different mountain bike areas (Jonkershoek, Dornier,Simons berg, Boschendal, Bottelary). Riding here will cost an additional R50 entrance fee.

Squad swim

We will start our weekly squad swim soon (Monday at lunch time)

The squad swim is part of 3YO’s swimming package and also part of 3YO’s Xterra package.

Ladies ride

On Wednesday we will start (in September) our Ladies ride again. Starting at 6:00 AM from BMT.

The ride takes about 90 minutes and is for beginner and intermediate cyclists.
